G. General Terms
This policy shall apply uniformly to all Educators, without distinction as to category, seniority, or tenure, and irrespective of whether the class in question is a Plus Class, Special Class, Free Class, or YouTube Class, it being clarified that no Educator or category of Educators shall be entitled to claim exemption from, or differential treatment under, this policy on any ground whatsoever. Every determination as to whether a particular act, omission, or conduct constitutes a breach under this policy, including, without limitation, any assessment of what constitutes a "genuine reason" for a break, the quantum of penalty to be levied, whether an occurrence falls within the categories described above or otherwise warrants penalty, and whether any act, conduct, or omission on the part of an Educator, whether or not specifically enumerated in this policy, amounts to misconduct, misuse, or any other act prejudicial to the interests of Unacademy, its Learners, or its brand and reputation, shall be made at the sole and absolute discretion of Unacademy, and every such determination shall be final, binding, and not open to challenge or appeal, save as provided under the grievance mechanism herein. This policy shall prevail over any other policy, communication, or representation, and in the event of any conflict or inconsistency between this policy and any such other policy, document, communication, or representation, the terms of this policy shall govern and take precedence. Unacademy reserves the right to amend, modify, revise, supplement, or replace this policy, in whole or in part, including the categories of misconduct covered, the quantum of penalties prescribed, and the manner of their computation or levy, at any time and from time to time, without prior notice and entirely at its own discretion, and any such amendment shall be binding on all Educators with effect from the date of such notification, whether communicated through the Educator App, electronic mail, or any other mode of communication as Unacademy may deem fit; continued participation by an Educator in any class following such notification shall constitute deemed acceptance of the amended policy.
